Mr. Raymund Chao is the Chairman of PwC Asia Pacific and the Chairman & CEO of PwC China. He is also one of the five senior partners on PwC’s global Network Leadership Team that sets the overall strategy for the PwC Network and the standards to which PwC firms agree to adhere.
Mr. Chao was born and raised in Hong Kong but began his professional career in Toronto, Canada after graduation. He was admitted to the Partnership in 1995 in Hong Kong, China. He relocated to Beijing and became PwC’s China Assurance Leader in 2005. From 2011 to 2015, he also became PwC’s Assurance Leader for the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Chao was elected Chairman & CEO for the PwC China in 2015. In 2017, he also became PwC’s Asia Pacific Chairman.
During his 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Chao has provided assurance and business advisory services to both private and public enterprises in Hong Kong as well as state-owned and private enterprises in mainland China. He has been involved in a number of onshore and offshore initial public offerings, debt financing, corporate restructuring, and mergers and acquisition transactions covering the finance, manufacturing, retailing, media and entertainment, technology and energy sectors.
Mr. Chao had previously served as an Expert Adviser to the relevant authority responsible for the Power Industry reform in China. He had also served as the first SEC Expert Witness on China cross border regulatory inspection issues in Washington. Mr. Chao is a frequent speaker at financial and business forums covering various emerging business and economic issues.
Mr. Chao is a firm believer in actively working to make a positive impact on society. This includes PwC’s leadership in corporate responsibility, as well as the contribution of technical support, management advice and assurance services to organisations in the non-profit sector. Mr. Chao is a co-founder and sponsor of the Quan Yuan Orphanage for disabled children.

Finance
Mr. Augustus (Augie) Cheh was Named Executive Officer (NEO) of Janus Capital Group and President of Janus Capital International with 27 years of experience in asset management and investment consulting. The first 15 years of Mr. Cheh’s career was primarily based in the U.S. focusing on hands-on management of institutional and mutual fund portfolios, consulting, and asset liability advisory. The latter part of his career was spent predominantly overseas where he managed all international distribution, as well as core infrastructure functions across U.K., Continental Europe, and Asia Pacific including Japan and Australasia. Mr. Cheh was a FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) CF3 Chief Executive in the U.K. for all European legal entities and their business activities for Janus Capital Group worldwide. He was SFC (Securities and Futures Commission) Responsible Officer in Hong Kong for regulated entities in Asia including Japan, Australia and New Zealand. He has in-depth understanding of risk management, corporate governance and compliance in both developed and emerging markets having managed IT, Finance, Operations, HR and Internal Audit at various times. Mr. Cheh has extensive working experience with US ’40 Act funds, European UCITS legislations and AIFM Directive in their investment and management, operations and distribution.
Mr. Cheh received his MBA and BSc in Electrical Engineering from Columbia
University. Mr. Cheh was a practicing actuary (ASA) until 2003 in the U.S. and an active U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Finance & Accounting
Mr. Chris Chow is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of TCC Capital.
Mr. Chow has been running TCC Capital since 2011. Before that, he was Managing Partner in one of the major international accountancy firms for 20 years where he was responsible for the firm’s M&A business in the Greater China region. He has extensive experiences and expertise in M&A, including auto, building material, retail and consumable industries. Throughout his career, Mr. Chow had provided advisory services to multinational companies including Johnson & Johnson (China), Sime Darby Group, Haier Group and BAIC Group. His expertise includes financial advisory, identifying investment opportunities and deal negotiations. Mr. Chow is also a member of HKICPA and has over 20 years of financial industry experience.
Mr. Chow holds a Bachelor of Economics from University of Sydney and Certificate of Investment & Finance from Securities Institute of Australia.
Technology
Dr. Edmond Sun has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He is the pioneer and inventor of VCDs who has since founded three companies listed on NASDAQ (Weitek, C-Cube and DVS).
Dr. Sun has won many international awards for his technological innovations and has a number of proprietary technologies patent in the fields of 3D scanning imaging, 3D modelling, face recognition, AR, and VR.
Dr. Sun holds a Doctorate Degree of Engineering and Applied Physics, a Doctorate Master Degree of Business Economics and a Master of Electronic Engineering from California Institute of Technology.
Biotechnology
Dr. Jiwu Wang is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Allele Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals Inc. and the President and Professor of Scintillon Institute.
Dr. Wang has published high impact articles in top journals such as Nature, Nature Methods, and Nature Medicine. He is also an inventor of about 20 patents and the Principle Investigator of a dozen research grants and contracts awarded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the United States. He leads Allele Biotech to become a world leader in cell and antibody therapies.
Dr. Wang obtained Doctorate Degree from University of Southern California and major in Biochemistry at Peking University. He was awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the NIH to obtain postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Diego.
Technology
Mr. Samuel Wang is the Founder of a well-known domestic mobile phone brand Qingcheng (Green-Orange) in China.
Mr. Wang has over 20 years of experience in the mobile phone industry. Previously, he held executive roles in Motorola, Lenovo and Techfaith. During his time with Lenovo, he participated in the research and development of Motorola’s first mobile phone in China. In 2006, Mr. Wang established Ruijia Je Group Company Ltd and is a leading mobile ODM solution provider in China.
Mr. Wang holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from China Europe International Business School.
